Vehicle Description CPR Classic is delighted to offer this 2001 Porsche 996 Turbo finished in Black with a Black leather interior.
This example was purchased new from a dealer in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and was shipped to its first and essentially only owner in Newport Beach, California, where it resided for over 20 years.
The original owner of this 996 Turbo was as meticulous as they come for maintenance and record-keeping.
The records begin with the original Purchase agreement, a copy of the window sticker, and photos of the day the car was shipped new from the dealer in Florida to California.
The service records are 100 percent complete from new.
From 2001 to 2007, the car was regularly serviced by Newport Porsche Audi to include all scheduled major and annual maintenance.
Beginning in 2007, the car was serviced exclusively by the renowned Laguna Hills-based Porsche shop Vision Motorsports.
Vision Motorsports maintained the car from 2007 to 2020.
Every service record from both Newport Porsche and Vision Motorsports is included with the sale of the vehicle and covers the timeframe from original delivery through the end of the original owner's tenure in 2021.
There are over 40 service records included.
Unfortunately, in the late summer of 2021, the original owner passed away, and the car was purchased from his estate by a long-time friend who resides in Los Angeles.
The car remained in the Venice area of Los Angeles with the second owner for several months before CPR Classic acquired the car.
In late 2021 prior to arriving at CPR, the car was serviced at Fantasy Motorsports, where new brake pads and sensors were installed along with a fluid service.
Upon arrival at CPR Classic, the car was thoroughly inspected and then received a detailed paint correction to remove minor oxidation and surface scratches that black paint tends to develop.

The 996 cars, particularly more special variants such as Turbos and GT3s, are finally starting to receive the attention they deserve within the market.
Because of this, the 996 Turbo not only remains an outstanding 911 to own from a cost standpoint but also a car that will likely see continued appreciation over the coming years.
This is a must-consider example if you are in the market for a fun, fast 911 that will be effortless to maintain and a joy to own.
