Engineering Project Manager - CIP - Water & Wastewater Utility

Our Engineering Department is growing!?Under the guidance of the District Engineer, the newly created?Project Manager?position will?independently manage Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and development projects related to the design and construction of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems. ?Will manage projects from start to finish, from project planning to final inspection.? Coordinates with District staff, contractors, and other agencies to deliver projects.

  • A High School Diploma or equivalency is required.

  • A Certificate or Associate's Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field is strongly preferred; coursework related to water distributions systems is strongly preferred; a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical are preferred) is a plus.

  • Water Distribution Operator (D1) and Water Treatment Operator (T1) Certifications are desired.


  • 2+ years of experience as a technical Project Manager working with Engineering is required; experience as a Project Manager within the water/wastewater distribution industry is strongly preferred.??

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
