Nurse Director of Intensive Care Unit and Telemetry

One of the prestigious and respected health systems in sunny, warm and coastal Southern California is seeking a Critical Care and Telemetry Nurse Director to join the prestigious team!
The 400-plus bed hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and houses a technologically advanced critical care unit that is staffed with a dynamic nursing team dedicated to providing top-notch patient care.
The Nurse Director of Critical Care and Telemetry Services will report to the Chief Nurse Officer and oversee a team of 90 FTEs over the 23 bed ICU and 25 PCCU units. As an accredited Stroke Center and a STEMI receiving Center, the hospital's busy Critical Care department sees a wide variety of high-acuity cases. This is a department that has ample resources, but needs an expert nurse administrator to make the best use of everything.
The Critical Care and Progressive Care Nurse Director will also have decision-making power over patient care, human resources, and budgeting, in addition to shift operations and clinical support in the surgery department. This is a fantastic opportunity for the candidate who is looking to be on the fast track to administration.
The Intensive Care Unit and Telemetry Director will promote and support the mission, vision and objectives of the medical center. The ICU and PCCU Director will develop and utilize mechanisms for directing, evaluating and controlling operational activates with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
The Nursing Director of Critical Care and Telemetry unit will develop collaborative relationships with physicians and supports the practice of nursing and patient care staff. The ICU and PCCU Nurse Director will participate in the implementation of strategic plans and programs while assuring compliance with all state and federal laws and other regulatory requirements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
