Assistant Restaurant Manager

To assist in the management and direction of restaurant and room service operations in reference to quality service, supervision of employees, monitor quality and consistency of food production, cost control, inventory, safety and sanitation with a professional manner while maintaining proper etiquette and processes of service. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest and employee satisfaction.
Assistance in the supervision of supervisors, food servers, bus persons, bartenders, hosts and other staff in reference to schedules, service standards, training, motivation, and safety regulations
Ensure that restaurant and outlets comply with sanitation and safety standards for guests and employees.
Assist in monitoring and checking that all equipment is in working order. Visually inspect and take action to ensure that facilities in restaurants look appealing and attractive to guests.
Assist in monitoring product and service quality and guest satisfaction in restaurant and outlets. Assist in developing service standards and monitor to maintain a four star level of service. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food. Interact with customers to determine needs, satisfaction and resolve conflicts.
Assist with organizing and overseeing special events, holidays and parties in the restaurant.
Assist in responding to guests inquiries regarding reservations and group functions.
Assist in, weekly work schedule and productivity report. Assist in time and attendance of
outlet staff. Monitor labor, payroll costs, and overtime to maintain budgeted guidelines.
Assist in interviewing, hiring and overseeing training of new personnel. Assist in Coaching, counseling and the documentation of employees adhering to resort policy. Monitor employees performance and evaluate during 90 day introductory period and annual reviews.
Performs all work required of servers, busers, bartenders and hostesses when busy, assisting when necessary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
