- Oversee and manage the dietary department, ensuring the provision of high-quality food service to residents/patients - Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of individuals - Coordinate and supervise food production, ensuring proper food handling, preparation, and storage - Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies - Train and supervise dietary staff, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop specialized diets for individuals with specific dietary needs - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary programs, making adjustments as necessary
Qualifications:
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required - Previous experience in food service management or related field preferred - Knowledge of food management principles and practices - Strong leadership and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations
