Summary:
Provides assistance to Account Managers to ensure that all billing processes are run within a billing cycle timely and accurately.
Some Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Learn all tasks associated with the billing process including but not limited to:
Prep meter reading system to prepare for reading route upload.
Pull, format, and import meter readings within the billing cycle parameters.
Key all meter reader notes into each resident account as needed.
Ensure billings are accurate and statements are ready to mail.
Audit billing reports.
Run penalty processes throughout the month as scheduled.
Assist the Account Manager with any onboarding, billing, or client management tasks for assigned communities as needed, such as, but not limited to:
Move in/out processes Escrow demands Update applicable utility rates (water, sewer, storm drain, trash, etc.
) to properly allocate community charges to each resident account.
Ensure read dates are within the parameters of the client agreement reading period.
Audit and fix rates/charges before billing is complete.
Process ACH and e-bill credits.
Update CPI increases as directed.
Check meter change-outs for accuracy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Detail-oriented, well-organized team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desire to improve processes, provide feedback, and help maintain good policies and procedures Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of experience in a quantitative position that used Excel Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer Ability to walk up and down a flight of stairs Job Type:
