org We are seeking a Network Technician to join our IT team.
The ideal candidate will have experience related to the maintenance and support of the school computer network and relevant components.
Duties:
- Install and configure computer and server software - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems - Maintain and upgrade network systems - Provide technical support to end-users - Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory - Install and configure software on desktops and servers - Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner Skills:
- Able to operate diagnostic equipment and software effectively - Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot computers and related systems - Ability to create and/or repair appropriate material for use (ie.
network cables, etc) - Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Windows Server administration - Knowledge of Active Directory user management and group policy configuration - Ability to provide excellent customer service to end-users - Experience with desktop support and help desk ticketing systems
